About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Assembler and Tool Crib to join our machining shop team.
This dual-role position requires someone with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and experience in a precision machining environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and technical drawings
Maintain and organize the tool crib, including issuing and tracking tools
Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage; coordinate repairs or replacements
Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production staff
Maintain inventory of tools, gages, and shop supplies
Ensure compliance with shop safety standards

Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in machining or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and machine shop tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
